Sales visit tracker app

Sales Visit Tracker App Is Calsyst: Stops, Notes and Kilometres Logged

A sales visit tracker app records where a field rep stopped, when and for how long, so visit reports stop being guesswork. Calsyst spots each stop of five minutes or more on the on-duty route and names the area. Notes the rep writes there pick up the visit place.

  • Visits appear without the rep pressing check-in
  • Each stop shows arrival, departure and minutes
  • Location is recorded only during the working day

What is a sales visit tracker app?

A sales visit tracker app logs where a field seller stopped, when and along which route, giving managers a report built from real locations.

Calsyst builds that report from on-duty GPS points: stops of five minutes become visits, and the web map numbers them in order with their times.

  • Stops are detected, not typed in.
  • Notes taken on site carry the area and coordinates.
  • Fake GPS points do not count toward distance.

Sales visit tracker app benefits

What a field manager gets without asking reps for a written report.

Visits found by themselves

Park outside a shop for five minutes and that place joins the day's visit list, named by its neighbourhood.

Times at every stop

The web view lists arrival, departure and minutes spent for each numbered stop.

Notes tied to the place

Type or speak a remark inside the shop and it carries that spot's area name and map position by itself.

Distance you can trust

Spoofed positions and teleport-style leaps are thrown out before the day's distance is added up.

Day totals for the office

Worked time, idle time, breaks, office time and battery sit beside the route.

Follow-up from the road

After a visit, the rep books the next call in one tap and the reminder rings on time.

Sales visit tracker: from GPS points to a visit list

During the shift the rep’s phone saves a position every 15 seconds and uploads them every five minutes. Calsyst joins those points into a route. Wherever the rep stayed five minutes or longer, it marks a stop and looks up the area name.

That stop list is the visit report. On the browser map, each stop carries a number in the order it happened, next to when the rep arrived, left and how long they stayed. The field sales tracking app page covers the full route view, and employee location tracking explains the consent and work-hours rules.

Salesman tracking app: visits, calls and follow-ups together

A visit rarely ends the sale. The rep usually needs to call back with a price, send a brochure or return next week. In Calsyst, the same app holds the customer’s lead, so the rep books a follow-up right after leaving the shop, and the reminder rings at the chosen time.

Calls made from the road also land on the lead, so the manager sees the visit and the calls in one history. Teams that also mark attendance at a branch office can read about the GPS attendance app.

Sales visit tracker app limits

  • No route planning: Calsyst records the route the rep drove, it does not plan one.
  • No order or invoice forms; record orders in remarks or custom lead fields.
  • No customer-specific geofence check-ins; visits come from stops on the route.
  • A quick halt of a few minutes, such as a shop with the shutter down, will not show as a visit.

Sales visit tracker app: a Tamale distributor

Worked example. The business is an illustration, not a named customer.

A drinks distributor in Tamale has 6 reps who each cover about 5 shops a day.

Before Calsyst, each rep sent a list of visits on WhatsApp at night. Now the manager opens one rep’s Thursday: five stops, from Lamashegu at 9:20 to Kukuo at 3:40, with 63 kilometres driven on duty.

At Central Market the note says the owner was away. The rep had already set a call-back for Friday morning, so the follow-up rang on time and the order came through by phone.

Sales visit tracker app FAQ

Which sales visit tracker app finds visits without manual check-ins?

Calsyst does. It turns every stop of five minutes or more on the rep's on-duty route into a visit, with the area name and the time spent.

What is Calsyst for field sales?

Calsyst is a sales visit tracker app and call manager that records reps' stops, routes and kilometres during the shift and keeps their calls and leads in the same account.

Which app should a manager use to follow salespeople on the road?

One that tracks only during work hours, finds visits by itself and shows the route on a map. Calsyst covers those three and adds calls and follow-ups.

Does the rep have to press a check-in button at each shop?

No. Stops are found from the route. The rep can still write a remark on the visit, and the remark gets the place automatically.

How short can a stop be and still count as a visit?

Stops of five minutes or longer are detected. Shorter halts, such as traffic lights or a quick fuel stop, are not listed as visits.

Can I tell which shop a stop belongs to?

Partly. Each stop shows its area name and times; the rep's remark on the visit, which carries that place, says which shop it was.

If a visit looks wrong, can I check the underlying positions?

Yes. Any day's drawn route can be opened down to the individual GPS points it was built from.

Does the sales visit report export to Excel?

Partly. The branch attendance and field report, with punch times, hours, breaks and kilometres per day, exports to Excel for any dates.

Can a rep attach a photo to a visit note?

Yes. Notes can hold photos, checklists and voice clips, so a rep can add a shelf photo to a customer's note.

Does the app work on iPhone for field reps?

Yes. Attendance and location tracking run on both Android and iPhone. Only call history needs Android.

How many visits can one rep's day show?

As many as there are stops. Every halt of five minutes or longer on the on-duty route becomes a numbered entry for that day.
